Individual Dental Coverage

We provide both fully-insured and discount individual or family dental coverage. Fully insured non-group dental policies look a lot like group dental coverage, with waiting periods and annual benefit limits. These plans typically require a 12-18 month waiting period for all major services and even some basic services.

Non-insured discount plans have advantages for individuals and familes who don't need or want the limitations of traditional insured dental insurance. Plans of this type can also be of benefit to employers, either on a voluntary or employer-paid basis, all at very low cost, some as low as $10 per month for an individual, with no waiting periods, limits, or "balance billing".

Alpha Dental is a popular, locally-owned discount plan from the BetaHealth Association. Alpha Dental Plans all offer no waiting periods, no dollar limitations on coverage, no exclusions, and orthodontia, endodontics, periodontics and all typical major services from the first day of coverage. The biggest advantage to DDP is its two different networks: DDP, where available, and Aetna, which allows any member to have access to a network provider in their area. We use and recommend DDP for both local and national coverage.
